Charles University uses a unified information system, including the unification of login details of employees and students so that they have universal access to all information systems of Charles University with a single user account. These accounts are now managed by the Central Authentication Service of Charles University (CAS) and are automatically set up for employees and students of the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen. This password is for accessing student information resources - LMS Moodle, SIS, Mefanet,...First-year students will receive login details (user computer account name and initial password valid for 5 days) at the same time as taking over the student ID card at the relevant study department. The initial setting of the password takes place in the first lesson of computer science.
If the password is set with full details, it is valid for 1 year. Before the expiration date, the user will receive information about the expiration date and the necessary password change to the specified email.
In CAS, it is also possible to set a password for accessing the EDUROAM WIFI network. You must set a special password, CAS account cannot be used.
