Annotation: Mastering the knowledge of the subject of Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry is a difficult task. At the beginning of their studies, medical students often find it difficult to understand the complexities of biochemistry and do not realize the importance of the connection between basic science and clinical problems. This e-course will use selected case studies to demonstrate the relationship between clinical situations and basic biochemical principles of functioning of the human body. The aim of the course is to support the teaching of biochemistry and to encourage students to develop the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in their future medical practice..

Enrollment key: For students requiring credit from the course Biochemistry case studies in the academic year 2026/27 (i.e. those with an enrolled course according to SIS), the enrollment key is in the format "credit". Other course visitors (i.e. those who do not need course credit and are just curious) will use the enrollment key "nocredit".
